Mercado San Miguel (MercadoSanMiguel.com) is a unique Internet portal designed for visitors to our town who are interested in exploring the arts community here.
Mercado, which goes onto the World Wide Web this month, connects international art buyers with local artists and galleries through online and direct marketing.
Shari Reynolds, a San Miguel resident with over 10 years experience in web design and promotion, has created the attractive site.
"More than 10,000 people search each month for 'San Miguel' on the web," Shari says. "With Mercado San Miguel, studios, galleries, artists, writers, and businesses can be included in a visitor's travel plans."
The site also provides visitors with an extraordinary opportunity to meet the artists, writers, photographers, and designers who make San Miguel their home.
"The unique feature about Mercado San Miguel is that it targets art buyers specifically and works to build one-to-one marketing relationships between artists, galleries, and buyers," Shari says.
