(San Miguel de Allende, Mexico) September 22, 2004 - Mark your calendar for the exciting San Miguel Studio Tours Extravaganza. The event showcases 25 top artists and photographers who live and work in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. San Miguel Studio Tours event coordinators have teamed with the Internacional Festival de Jazz to include 3-day Jazz Fest passes with the Studio Tours package.
  • Studio Tours Extravaganza launches Thursday evening, November 25, with a cocktail reception.
  • Artist reception is an opportunity for guests to meet and mingle with the studio artists, see their work on display and plan the next three days of studio and gallery tours.
  • Jazz Fest opens later in the evening, just blocks away at the Angela Peralta Theater.

"The artist homes are some of the most creative and enchanting in San Miguel. It's a unique opportunity to see where the artists live and work, what inspires them and to form personal relationships. People from around the world and Mexico attend the Internacional Festival de Jazz each fall in San Miguel. "It has grown into a major annual event, attracting national and international musicians, music lovers, students and teachers, and visitors who just want to share the joy of music", says event co-founder and director, Elena Shoemaker who started the event in 1994.
