Susan Plum
Susan is an installation artist, sculptor, painter and designer whose bi-cultural experience has greatly influenced her work and life. She elegantly weaves glass to create an interplay of light and color which reflects her passion for life.
Susan Plum was raised in Mexico City and considers herself an American/Mexican. Her mother was born in Mexico City, her father was raised in Chihuahua. She has returned to Mexico to live in San Miguel de Allende after leaving for the US at 20 and has been designing what she calls "table jewelry" as well as jewelry. She is also making and designing candelabras. Susan started making candelabras in the early 90's which have been highlighted in magazine's such as House Beautiful, Metropolitan Home (received the 100 top designers award in 1992), Pronto (Tokyo), Lifestyle, Craft Horizon.
